Directions to Woodhead Lounge, Wesleyan University
From Hartford and points north: Take Interstate 91 South, exit 22 (a left exit) to Route 9 South. At exit 15, turn right onto Route 66 West (Washington Street). Go through the Middletown business district. At the 5th light (including the one at the exit), just before the tree-lined green of the War Memorials, where you'll see a Wesleyan sign, turn left onto High Street. (continued below)
From New Haven and points south: Take Interstate 91 North, exit 18 to Route 691/66 East - or - the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15 North), exit 68 to Route 691/66 east. Route 66 becomes Washington Street in Middletown. About half a mile after you go under the railway overpass, you'll pass the tree-lined green of the War Memorials, see a sign for Wesleyan, and turn right at the light onto High Street.
Then: Take High Street South along the center of campus, past four stoplights. One block after the fourth stoplight, turn right onto Lawn Avenue. Go past the greenhouse one block along, and you will see the entrance to Exley Science Center/Science Tower behind it: a modern building with glass in most of the main level, and a 6 stories above the left side. Park on or around Lawn Avenue (Wesleyan lots are available after 5 pm), enter the glass doors. You'll be in a large lobby outside some classroom and the science library. Go to the right as far as you can, and you'll end up facing the entrance to Woodhead Lounge.
